Balance your Prakriti
Ayurveda Healing with Deepmala Shah
Welcome
Namaste 🙏
I am Deepmala Shah, an Ayurveda Healing Therapist. Through this blog, I aim to share the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda in a simple and practical way for modern life.
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old natural healing system from India. It is based on balancing the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—which are energies present in every individual.
When these doshas are balanced, we experience good health. When they are imbalanced, it can lead to physical and mental issues.
Understanding Your Dosha
Vata (Air + Space)
- Qualities: Dry, cold, light
- Imbalance signs: Anxiety, dry skin, constipation
- Balance with: Warm, nourishing foods and routine
Pitta (Fire + Water)
- Qualities: Hot, sharp, intense
- Imbalance signs: Acidity, anger, inflammation
- Balance with: Cooling foods and calm lifestyle
Kapha (Earth + Water)
- Qualities: Heavy, slow, stable
- Imbalance signs: Weight gain, lethargy, congestion
- Balance with: Light, spicy, active lifestyle
Simple Daily Ayurvedic Tips
